Another summer, another controversial topic going on while students aren't around...Dozens of trees are being cut down across the campus, including some that are an essential part of the WSU landscape? Is it progress, or is it just plain wrong? Read inside for more!
The Library Road Project has been underway for years, and it's almost done...The massive project to make the core of campus more pedestrian friendly has been a thorn in the side of students going to class for years now. As the project is making it's way towards Kimbrough, it's left an eye sore on campus...All of the trees by Holland have been removed, and a grove of wonderful evergreens are slated to be removed next...they will be made into parking spaces...go figure...a Facebook group has been created called "SAVE WSU TREES!!" and their is a website to go along with it... |
