Ever feel like things aren't expensive enough...well, sometimes it
doesn't matter when you're supporting your own. Cougs have a chance to
help students at WSU Tri-Cites by supporting a new "Taste of History:
20 Years of Washington Wines"
From WSU News: RICHLAND, Wash. — The inaugural “A Taste of History: 20 Years of
Washington Wines” offers a rare opportunity to taste two decades of
wines while supporting Washington State University Tri-Cities. This
exclusive event on July 17 raises funds for scholarships and vineyard
development for the viticulture and enology academic program at WSU
Tri-Cities. “Taste of History” features a guided tasting of
interesting and exquisite library wines donated by four of the state’s
most established wineries: Chateau Ste. Michelle, Columbia Winery,
Gordon Brothers Cellars and Woodward Canyon Winery. For the list of
specific wines to be served, visit www.tricity.wsu.edu/historyofwine. “This
unique tasting is a great opportunity to relive the last 20 years of
Washington wine and gain an appreciation for the progress we’ve made —
and truly appreciate the excellence that has always been there,” said
Vicki Gordon of Gordon Brothers Cellars. “It shows me that support for
Washington State University’s very own V & E program is not only
warranted, but long overdue.” |

Spokesman Bill Stevens said Wulff decided on the punishment after consulting with a conduct council of players and coaches.
The 21-year-old defensive back from Fullerton, Calif., is serving a 45-day sentence in the Whitman County Jail after pleading guilty to third-degree theft and third-degree attempted assault.
Hicks was accused of putting rubbing alcohol in the contact lens case of former teammate and roommate Grady Maxwell in a payment dispute and of using a stolen credit card. |
