So clearly people don't like the facebook being opened up to non students.
The undefeated WSU mens' soccer team plays their final games this weekend. They play Eastern this saturday at 10am at South Fairway Field and play the Zags on Sunday 1pm same place. (directions here). Show your support go to the game! GO Cougs!
Our advice here are Cougster is DON'T major in sociology, psych, comparative ethnic studies, under water basket weaving...unless your parents have money. If you like these subjects, try a minor. CNN money has a list of some of the majors where the average starting salary has increased. We especially encourage female students to consider science or engineering. In some fields that are heavily dominated by men women actual earn more on average than men. See the list.
This ABC news report details how Ivy League and some other top schools admit some students because of big donations from their parents. Score one against a society based on meritocracy. We at Cougster hate this...

CNN Money has a list of the 10 most expensive colleges in the country. A year's tuition at some of these places is more than 4 years at WSU. I guess if the students can afford the tuition at these places they are drinking better beer than Busch Light... See the list here.
